The Beddi Intelligent Alarm Clock can do far more than wake you up in the morning. When paired with a smartphone, the tabletop device can control every aspect of your home.

Built for now, USB plugs behind the clock can charge two devices at once. Mood lights on the clock emit a comforting hue, just choose one of the over 16 million colors available. But these features triple if you sync the Beddi to your smartphone via Bluetooth.

Aside from letting you play music from your home, the smart clock works with Spotify so you can turn your favorite music into your alarms. It also works with your Wemo plug so it can turn on your coffee machine 10 minutes before your awake. The Beddi can also gradually turn on your Philips Hue lights so you ease into the morning . With Nest support, it can also cue room temperature changes.

At night, the Beddi can either play a sleep playlist off Spotify or generate white noise to help users sleep. Every workday, the alarm clock will read out the weather forecast and traffic info so you can dress and commute to work smarter. If you’re on Uber, a dedicated button hails you a ride and lets you know it’s here: “Your Uber ride is here.”

The Beddi belongs to an emerging category of devices to bring together connected home products. Instead of having an app for every Nest, Philips Hue or Wemo plug, these devices bring it all together to one, physical control center. Design-wise, Beddi as an alarm clock is new. Google’s feature-rich OnHub doubles as a very capable router while the Amazon Echo introduces itself as the digital assistant Alexa.
